Real wood veneers in over a hundred species, matched and pressed for wall panels, furniture, doors and ceilings — supplied to interior designers, carpenters and builders across Delhi NCR and Haryana.

Our veneers
Our wood veneers are thin leaves of real timber, sliced from solid logs and pressed onto plywood so they are as easy to fix as a board. They bring the look of solid wood to wall panels, furniture, doors and ceilings at a fraction of the timber.
Use them in hotels, office lobbies, reception areas, board rooms and elevators, or at home for wardrobes, wall panels, ceiling features and cabinets. For sheets made to your drawings, see veneer customization.
Because we also manufacture plywood, block boards and flush doors, MRS can supply the complete set of materials for an interior project.

Commercial face veneer is an economical surface for everyday furniture and panels that will be painted, laminated or given a plain polish. Decorative veneer uses selected species and grain patterns for surfaces people will look at — wall panels, wardrobe shutters, reception desks and feature furniture.

| Grain and species | Plain, consistent | Selected species and figured grain |

Veneer goes wherever you want the look of real wood without the weight, cost or movement of solid timber. Choose the backing board for the place it will be used:
| Application | What to ask for |
|---|---|
| Wall panelling and ceilings | Book- or slip-matched decorative veneer on plywood |
| Wardrobe and cabinet shutters | Decorative veneer on plywood or block board, both faces finished to stay flat |
| Doors | Veneer-faced flush doors, polished to match the room |
| Hotel lobbies, offices and reception desks | Matched decorative veneer; ask about fire-retardant backing boards where specified |
| Painted or laminated furniture | Commercial face veneer |
Matching is how neighbouring leaves are laid next to each other, and it changes the look of a panel more than the species does. Book matching mirrors each leaf like the pages of a book; slip matching slides leaves along in sequence so the grain repeats; random matching mixes leaves for a relaxed, natural look. We also offer cross grain, scrambled and weaved patterns.
Choose veneer when you want real wood that can be polished and refinished — living rooms, bedrooms, feature walls and doors. Choose laminate for kitchens, bathrooms and heavy-use surfaces, where scratch and water resistance matter more than natural grain. Read veneer vs laminate and types of veneer for more.

FAQ
Commercial face veneer is an economical surface for everyday furniture and panels, usually painted, laminated or polished in a plain finish. Decorative veneer uses select species and grain patterns for visible surfaces such as wall panels, reception areas and feature furniture.
Our veneer leaves range from 0.25 mm to 0.7 mm depending on species and cut, and custom thicknesses can be made on request. Veneers are usually supplied pre-pressed on a 3 mm plywood sheet so they are easy to handle and fix.
Veneer is real wood, so it gives a natural grain and can be polished and refinished; it suits living rooms, bedrooms and feature wardrobes. Laminate is a printed surface that resists scratches and water better and needs less care, so it suits kitchens and heavy-use areas.
In book matching, every other veneer leaf is turned over like the pages of a book, so neighbouring leaves form a mirror image along the joint. It creates the symmetrical grain often seen on wall panels and wardrobe shutters.
Dust regularly, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and keep veneer out of strong direct sunlight and away from standing water. Use coasters and mats, and re-polish polished surfaces when the finish dulls.
In commercial spaces such as hotels, office lobbies, reception areas, board rooms and elevators, and at home for furniture, wall panels, ceiling features, wardrobes and doors.
