Flush doors made to IS 2202
IS 2202 is the Indian Standard for wooden flush door shutters. It sets requirements for the frame, core, face panels and adhesive, and for performance tests such as end immersion, glue adhesion and slamming. MRS flush doors are bonded with phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin as per IS 2202, on chemically treated, seasoned hardwood frames.
For a buyer, that means a door that stays flat, holds its hinges and handles, and does not delaminate when the air turns humid. When you compare quotes, ask each supplier which standard the doors are made to and what resin bonds them.

Flush door sizes
Most door openings in Indian homes are 7 ft high. Main doors are usually 3 ft wide, bedroom doors 2.5 to 3 ft and bathroom doors 2 to 2.5 ft. Frames vary, so measure each opening on site; we make doors in standard sizes and to your exact sizes.

Finishes
Our flush doors leave the factory with a smooth surface ready for polish, paint or laminate. Polish suits teak and veneer faces, paint is the simplest for interiors, and laminate is the most water-resistant choice for bathroom doors.
